Do faults and lost connections of mining machines occur frequently? How should such problems be fixe

There are two main cases of faulty mining machines: automatic reboot of mining machines and unstable hashrate.

There are two main cases of faulty mining machines: automatic reboot of mining machines and unstable hashrate. Possible causes and solutions are as follows:

The power supply is unstable. When the mining machines are in operation, the current of the power output operation board can reach 200-300A, and the current is even higher with water-cooled mining machines, when the power output fluctuates greatly, the operation board will reboot, which is hard to detect and replacement of power supply is desirable in most cases. In case of low voltage or unstable voltage, special device is required to detect this problem or an experienced electrician is required for troubleshooting.

The control panel is broken. The control panel is the center of the mining machine, which is equivalent to a microcomputer. The firmware program is loaded in the flash memory. When the control panel is abnormal, it will lead to rebooting the mining machine. Generally, this problem can be fixed by restoring factory default settings and execute system recovery for reboot, otherwise the mining machine needs to be returned to the factory for maintenance.

The chip is unstable. Generally, you can query the logs to discover the chip loss. If the chip is unstable, you can directly return it to the factory for repair.

The network is unstable, which has a certain probability of rebooting the mining machine as a result. Generally, you can try to replace the network cable or network port during the local check.
