How to deal with serious deposition of dust falling from Crypto mining machines?

For dust cleaning, it’s recommended to use: Air compressor + air gun, recommended pressure range: 0.7+/ -0.05mpa.


During the operation of the mining machines, it is necessary to check the dust deposition every month. If a large amount of dust deposits in the radiator or operation board, the heat dissipation may be affected, resulting in high temperature protection. When cleaning dust, be sure to turn off the mining machines rather than starting mining machines for operation.

For dust cleaning, it’s recommended to use: Air compressor + air gun, recommended pressure range: 0.7+/ -0.05mpa.

Dust cleaning method:

Turn on the air pump and wait for the pressure to reach 0.7MPa. Blow the front and rear fans twice with an air gun, clean the rear fans first, then clean the front fans, and clean the mining machines and power fans thoroughly.

 It should be noted that the air gun should be blown close to the fans, but not into the mesh enclosure or blades to prevent damage to the blades. Blow for 2-3 seconds at each gap in the position of fan blade, and repeat this operation 2-3 times. When the air gun is used to blow the fans at a certain angle, the fans will drastically accelerate its rotation, when care should be given to control the angle to avoid the fans from being damaged by high rotational speed. 

If the dust cannot be blown out with an air gun due to high humidity or other factors, remove the fans and gently brush off the dust with a soft antistatic brush. Do not use a hard brush or too much force to remove the dust. Otherwise, the radiators may fall off. After treatment with the hairy brush, blow the dust away with an air gun.
